Parlour Guitar

A mid 19th century parlour guitar labelled Chappell, New Bond Street. London. A French import possibly from the LaCote workshop, Paris. A spruce table (some repairs), multiple banding to the edge and mother of pearl sound hole decoration. The back of birds eye maple (crack repairs) An ebony scalloped fretted finger board and ebony veneered neck and headstock. The bridge might be an old replacement. Brass tuners with ivory(or bone?) buttons. Playing order. With wooden case. £1850
