Boxwood flute
An early 19th century boxwood 5 key flute probably of German origins but no makers name apparent. Horn mounts. One of the wooden key mounts has been replaced with a metal mount. A long crack repair to the back of the head joint. The Head joint is brass sleeved for the tuning slide. A hairline crack on the foot joint. Blows OK. Old pads. Overall length  60.4cm. Sounding length  53cm.  £195
